Chemistry Department of Hakim Sabzevari University was established in 2011 with the admission of students in the bachelor’s degree in pure chemistry.

At present, the interested students can apply to study in two program including pure chemistry and applied chemistry at the bachelor’s degree.

Also, in the master’s and doctoral degrees, the following programs are offered:

1- Organic Chemistry

2- Inorganic Chemistry

3- Physical Chemistry

4- Analytical Chemistry

5- PhD in Inorganic Chemistry

The Chemistry Department has educational laboratories for general chemistry, mineral chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and analytical chemistry, and an organic chemistry research laboratory, a mineral chemistry research laboratory, a chemical nanocomputation laboratory, and an analytical chemistry research laboratory.
